Posada Villa Paula

I am really impressed how Paula was running the Hostel. Already prior to Our stay she was answering all Our questions as fast as No one else Had ever done it. She was caring so much about her guest you really felt welcome. It was really an enjoyable stay, everything was great. The kitchen was Well equiped, room was Clean and spacious. We Had hot water, which was really great. Even breakfast was offered. The Location is a Bit away from Barichara but with Busses and tuktuks running it was Not a Problem. We enjoy the Nature and calmness around Our place. And with Paula organizing Out Transport everything worked Out perfectly.

This is our favorite hotel we stayed for our 3 week trip in Colombia. The hotel sits right next to the famous Camino Real path between the two beautiful towns. We even did night hike a few times from the town to the hotel. The hotel is very safe and quiet. The hotel also has a lovely open air kitchen and living room you can use. The balcony is so peaceful and beautiful. The hotel owners are extremely helpful and sweet. Their dogs are super cute!

This cabin is great! Spaces are awesome, it is really comfortable; and Lidia, Paula and their family are really kind and attentive. It’s 100% nature. Clean and well equipped.

Car is always needed!

Our room was large and spacious with a huge balcony. The price was unbelievably low! The family who hosted our stay at the Posada, was wonderful. Everything was perfect. We are hikers and it is located along the Camino Real which is an amazing pathway weaving itself along the mountains. Be sure to visit the village of Guane and of course Barrichara along the route of the Camino. We both felt that this was the best stay of our trip to Colombia

Everything! We were also the only guests staying there. It was tranquil, outside of the main tourist area but good for walking, had everything we needed eg a kitchen, hammock, hot water etc. We were also able to check out late in the afternoon and use the facilities until we departed.

We loved how quiet it was, and how helpful the staff was clean and tranquil.

it’s not exactly in Barichara but that, for me added to the charm because it was very peaceful and the staff made it easy to just take a tuk tuk in for cheap.

Very good location (in the middle between Barichara and Guane) in a nice garden, which is perfect in hot days. Very helpful and friendly Paula and her mother. You will be satisfied!
