Morning Star Bed & Breakfast of Corrales

Morning Star is an incredibly beautiful place on a pastoral acreage in the historic village of Corrales, NM. The grounds are stunning. The inn itself, a charming example of northern NM architecture and craftsmanship is comfortable and warm. Our room, looking directly out to the beautiful pool could not have been better. We loved dining with the other guests (food was exceptional) which were a couple and their daughter from the UK and a lovely couple from NJ. The wife was Bavarian and we recounted our favorite beer gardens for hours. If you are not familiar with the "bosque" along the Rio Grande river, it is an amazingly beautiful greenbelt of ancient cottonwood tree, expansive lawns and tiny farms that date back centuries. John and Carol, the owners, are lovely, well informed and fun to hang with. Go there.

Carol and John are the most wonderful and hospitable hosts! They make the property even more charming - staying here for a few days before I headed out of town was such a welcome. When I left I felt as if I were staying with family - it's that cozy. John made the tastiest breakfasts and they were just the sweetest couple. My room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the grounds were so peaceful and quiet. It's in a great location too - close to where the wineries and farms are yet convenient to eateries and coffee shops as well.

Instead of staying with family or at a local area hotel we decided to try our first stay in a B&B (4 nights) in many years. What a treat! The inn's hosts Carrol & John are very warm and welcoming and really care about their guests. Our room was large, very comfortable with a very large bathroom and dressing area. Plenty of storage space for clothing and suitcases. Carrol has an interior design and architecture background and it shows in how comfortable the Inn is. John's breakfasts are the perfect way to start the day. He and Carrol are happy to join you around the table with other guests and chat or leave you alone to yourselves. We enjoyed their company as did the others. The Inn's grounds are wonderful and relaxing by the large pool is a delight. This will be our go to place to stay when visiting this area again! Carrol and John, thanks again for your hospitality.

Amazing, customer service was awesome. Above and beyond our expectations. Always felt that I was home without us picking up nothing. Carol and John made our stay felt like family. My second family. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was a very welcoming place with beautiful rooms and beautiful grounds. Loved the fireplaces. Was very quiet. Breakfast was incredible. Would definitely love to come back and stay when the pool is open and the trees are in bloom.

The hosts Carol & John, and other staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The many personal touches offered, along with the beautiful accommodations made my stay very special and enjoyable. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious! I traveled to ABQ to visit friends and they also enjoyed stopping by beautiful Morning Star, the property is exquisite! What a great homecoming trip!!

I really love my stay their, was very peaceful and laid back. The only thing I think they should add is other thing we purchase for drinks and snacks in evening.

My husband and I love the location. It was secluded and the property was amazing. Carol and John were gracious hosts. The food was delicious. We would definitely stay there again. No more hotels.

The setting under the cotton wood trees is second to none.
