We werden ontzettend warm ontvangen door de lieve eigenaren, die ons van alles vertelde over het gerenoveerde hotel en de omgeving. Het is rustig gelegen in een buitenwijk in de heuvels, maar vlakbij het centrum van San Sebastian. Een perfecte uitvalbasis voor een bezoek aan de stad en de omgeving. De inrichting is prachtig, modern met authentieke elementen. De kamer was ruim en comfortabel met goede bedden en een moderne ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt was handig geregeld. De dag van tevoren kan je een menu inleveren met wat je wilt ontbijten. Er staan heerlijke lokale producten op. Er komt 4 dagen per week een chef die geweldig kan koken. Buiten die 4 dagen is het restaurant voor diner gesloten. Het terras aan het hotel is prachtig gelegen en omringd door groen. Er komen geen gasten van buiten hotel, waardoor het heerlijk rustgevend is.

Enige wat ik kan bedenken is dat het wel ietwat gehorig was.

This is a beautiful family run hotel steeped in history that has been restored and modernised while keeping its old world charm. In an idea tranquil rural location yet only 20 min from the lively town of San Sebastian. The staff are so welcoming and engaging, their passion for this fifth generation home is evident. Beautiful location, peaceful and stylish

The hotel and our room were beautiful. We wandered the grounds including the apple orchard. Very peaceful. We arrived on a Friday evening and had the dinner cooked by Chef Xaxa. It was amazing! Highly recommend getting the dinner. Very tasty, beautiful presentation, reasonably priced considering the quality and we got to meet the chef. The staff was so gracious, helpful and friendly We didn’t finish the wine we bought with the dinner so the following evening the staff served us the wine + cookies on the back porch. It was a bit cool so they brought out cushions and blankets. We were definitely pampered there.

The host Juan was exceptional. We arrived late but he was there to help us get situated and stayed to help us find dinner options despite the late hours. The accommodation was very clean and the property exceptional. It was an ideal house for our needs and close to Santiago de Compostello which was where we were headed. The host added additional extra touches like fruit and milk and toiletries that we appreciated very much.

Tout. Le charme de l' établissement et la propreté, la nourriture parfaite, la gentillesse . Un petit coup de coeur à Sylvia mais tout le mo de était extraordinaire. Un séjour de rêve.

Avoir un véhicule ou être un bon marcheur car ç est excentré. ( ça a son charme aussi)

Super emplacement, super accueil d’une très grande gentillesse, très belle chambre très confortable et un très bon petit déjeuner. C’est un vrai plaisir de se retrouver dans ce lieu où nous avons l’impression d’être chez soit.

Juste incroyable ! Les propriétaires bienveillants , disponibles ! Un endroit avec beaucoup d’humanité : ça fait du bien ! On a adoré !
