Amendoeira Praia Hotel

The staff of the hotel very care about their clients. The hotel has nice and comfortable rooms, nice pool and good prices (150 rials per night for a couple). Located in the center of morro- safe to go back at nights, and still quiet and calm inside it. I was very happy staying here!

I stayed there just one day. A very nice, not luxurious but very cosy place. His owner, Leandro (he prefers to be called Gaucho) ,has a good predisposition to welcome and make you feel at home. Very cleans, It is in front of the sea, within very easy reach to both the second and the third beaches. Everything was perfect. They do not have electric showers in the bathroom, and that is great. The water is warmed through solar energy, taking care of the environment. There is a swimming pool as well. Breakfast is correct. The only, but minimal suggestion is that they can provide wifi internet in the rooms.

I stayed in this pousada (hotel) with my mom and my friend. We stayed in a beachfront room and the view is breathtaking. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Im not sure if they speak English though. This place is located at the third beach and its perfect for all guests; its close to the parties and all the noise (about 5 minutes walking), but once you get closer to the hotel, you cant hear a thing. The breakfast is not great, but since its included it was good enough for me. I will definitely stay there again!

My wife and I stayed with our 6 month old for 10 days.I cant say enough about how great everybody was.2 minute walk from the main restaurant area.Great ocean view and pool.We will stay again and hopefully again.

A two floor pousada built around a swimming pool right on 3rd beach in Morro de Sao Paulo. Only 2 minutes walk from the busy second beach where all the partying is. On the crowded beach its advisable not to bring to much money or valuables so its great to have a Pousada a short walk away to grab or drop off money/camera etc. Its also well located for a nice walk to the 4th beach too. The pousada isn't overly fancy, but the inside reminds me of a classic Florida motel, colourful, bright, palm trees, and private pool. Breakfast is nice, so overall its great value for money.

For our stay in Morro we had initially booked the Pousada Farol das Estrelas, many months in advance, in order to get the best rooms available. When we got there we found out that the room was the size of a matchbox (there wasn't even space to put our bags on the floor) and the so called terrace was a tiny balcony with barely enough space to sit. We decided to spend only one night there and the next morning we set off down the third beach to find a better accommodation. We found the Pousada Amendoeria. The price was dirt cheap (60 euros for their very best room). The pousada is run by local people and it's built around a nice big pool. Or room was facing the sea (which meant it was just about "inside" the water!). It was huge, with a double bed and a extra single bed. The terrace was big and airy with two comfy hammocks, table and chairs. It was amazing sitting on the terrace right above the sea. We loved Amendoeira: beware it's totally no frills, the rooms are clean but extremely simple but the location it's unbeatable (on the third beach just a few steps away from the second beach where all the fun is) and the staff is extremely kind. I wish to go back soon!
