The Castle House

Setting, facilities, staff, food.

Room was quaint. Very old building so floors uneven. Shower a bit slow but i needed walk in shower . Helpful staff. Breakfast good.

Parking was an issue. I have blue badge so didnt have to watch the clock but finding a space difficult.

Everything was lovely. Room and bathroom excellent. Breakfast delicious. Would highly recommend.

Only issue was checking in time. Due to parking in Richmond car was a way away so had to lug bags around with us

Very friendly welcome and we were treated to a bottle of sparkly in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The breakfast was wonderful. A lovely laid back stay. Thank you! 😊

Attention to detail down to a hot water bottle in room. We only stayed a night but the room was large and comfortable with plenty of storage and you could stay for days without feeling oppressed. Host very welcoming and kind. The house itself is beautiful. It is very old and well maintained. If you want perfectly level floors and walls best stay in a Premier Inn (my personal hell). Water piping hot. The location is central and it does have a view of the castle. Breakfast was perfect and there was a great continental and cooked to order selection. There's a DVD library and an honesty bar. Bed very comfortable. Room lighting was perfect. We thought parking was going to be a faff but it really wasn't.

Nothing. This is a beautifully run guest house.
