Bed & breakfast Giulio

We liked the location, close to Noto and to Lido di Noto (several minutes driving), and we also liked the view from the terrace. It is a quiet place with comfortable rooms and with nice modest breakfast on the terrace (there is only sweet option). Owner is very helpful and friendly.

There are certain restrictions about using the kitchen, although there are possibilities. The room was not perfect clean, there was some dust around the room.

The communication with the owner was easy without problems, although it was from distance, we didn΄t meet. We arrived and had to call to find the location of the keys and our room was ready with information. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. Free parking place was provided in the courtyard of the property. The typical Italian breakfast is served out in the shared terrace with very tasty homemade pastries. We met the hosts in the morning who were very charming and welcoming. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Nothing to dislike. Just to mention that the room was basic and not too large. But it fulfilled our needs for an overnight stay.

Although we understand we stayed there during an extreme heatwave, the cold water in she shower was still very hot. The apartment is located outside the town and you need a car to get there. The wifi was ok but a bit slow.

We arrived and had to call to find the location of the keys for the B&B and our room was ready with information. The breakfast is out on the terrace and was homemade cakes and fruit, as well as a traditional Sicilian type of sandwich with cheese, tomatoes and olives.

We knew that the place was a little outside of Noto but we thought that we could have a 20min walk in down a path according to Google maps - this was not possible and we did have to drive into the city which was fine as there was parking (in July) but we were told that it can be very crowded in August.

Beautiful terrace, easy on-site parking. The breakfast was definitely a highlight of our trip in Sicily : it was the best breakfast served though "breakfast included" rooms, fresh olives, coffee and tea served at breakfast and good vibes.

Location : we were not able to reach the city or a supermarket by foot (one path ended up being an unbreachable jungle, the other was a busy road with no sidewalk).
