Hampden Apartments - The George

Lovely spacious apartment in the centre of Windsor

The car park was a little awkward to find. But our host sent us a video which made it really easy.

The location is incredible, it is right next to Windsor Castle. The apartment is modern and very well set up for food preparation. A great place to stay with a family. Communication was excellent, the host was easy to contact and very helpful. We would have loved to stay longer.

The location was great. Just a short walk to shopping, restaurants and Windsor castle. Free parking available. Staff was prompt on queries.

Rooms appears clean at first, however, furnitures, bed and bedding were worn out and tired, cushions on sofa, oven, pans, under the beds were filthy. dryer for clothing was not working.

The location is absolutely superb. We loved everything about the apartment. It is stylish and comfortable. Perfect spot for watching the changing of the guard as they go along High Street. Lovely to have two bathrooms too.

Location was good

Broken sofabed. Beds in 2nd bedroom had crisps/crumbs and hair in/on them obviously not changed from last occupant. Flickering light bulb in master bedroom. Broken mechanism on window shade in master bedroom. Freezer over frozen with ice.

Location, Location, Location! Ideal apartment with parking on Windsor high street. Less than 1min walk to Windsor Castle.

This apartment could be excellent if a few upgrades were made. Quality of pillows, beds and cushions were very poor. Cushions on sofa are filthy and need to be replaced & it needs to be repainted. Single glazed windows in this property results in a significant draught in bedroom and living room.

Great location, high standard and a quiet place to stay! Will definitely come back!

Super convenient for visiting everything in Windsor. Plenty of food nearby, lots of options. The property itself was a little run down, half of the shades didn’t work, most of the freezer was unusable because of ice build up, the washing machine is a combo washer dryer, but it doesn’t dry your clothes at all, you have to hang them up.
