Excellent location and very comfortable appartment

The location was really nice quiet neighborhood close to the old castle of Desenzano. Views from the shared roof terrace over the Desenzano to the lake Garda were breathtaking. Unfortunately during our stay in mid July it was too hot to stay at the terrace during the day. The WIFI was fast and the ac kept the apartment nice and cool. There was enough space for two adults and two teenagers. While not as convenient as having one in the apartment, the shared washing machine was a definitive plus. The restaurants and stores for shopping were a short walking distance away towards the lake, and there were plenty to choose from.

The ac was probably too cold for us, and unfortunately we couldn't change the settings ourselves instead we would have had to contact the hotel representative who would have contacted someone else to remotely change the settings. We didn't do this, but this is something to take into consideration. The other thing is that the apartment was on a hill and the beach front and all the stores and restaurants were down hill, which for some walkways was relatively steep. For us this caused no problems, but for people who have some health issues this should be taken into account when choosing your stay.
