The location is lovely, the decor is strange

No one informed us that it the day we arrived was carnival day in Castell'Arquato and that the closest we could park was half a mile away at the bottom of a very steep hill which we then had to climb with our luggage (we are in our 60s and 70a - this is no joke) as opposed to the parking opposite the hotel we had been promised (and I cannot believe that carnival day in Castell'Arquato was a surprise to the owners - they should have informed us). The concierge was hardly any help - and he blamed the owners. Our restaurant booking had been changed and the bar next to the hotel pumped out very loud music until gone 10pm. None of this has left us well disposed to the property. The rooms were cluttered (and a bed without a bedside table), there was no one there to welcome us and the wifi didn't work.

Una perla preziosa in un meraviglioso borgo!! La struttura è veramente fantastica! Lo staff gentilissimo e pronto ad esaudire ogni nostro desiderio. Abbiamo ricevuto un trattamento da re !! Le eleganti camere sono dotate di ogni confort con balconcini sulla piazza medioevale di Castell’Arquato Bagno super!! Con doccia idromassaggio!! Meravigliosa e puntigliosa pulizia ovunque. E..chicca delle chicche..colazione servita in camera da un simpatico gnomo ricca di 1000 prodotti buonissimi! Assolutamente SUPER CONSIGLIATO 🌹

Pulizia eccezionale, staff fantastico, location da sogno, la prima colazione un sogno !! Atmosfera da favola, un soggiorno che non dimenticherete.. Un BB che vi sembrerà il Castello delle fiabe !!
