Good location in Maulbronn on the main street, but lodging accommodations are nothing special. I was glad to wake up early and leave as soon as possible.

Bathroom and shower did not look clean--skipped showering completely. Had the weather and roads been better, I would have left immediately. FYI: The restaurant is closed Mondays.

The hotel was super cozy and meticulously clean. Beds were comfortable and the restaurant downstairs had good German selections as well as other dishes.

We had trouble finding anyone to help us check out in the morning. So, just make sure, the night before, you find out where to go in order to pay and return your keys. The restaurant is bustling at night but no one was around the check out desk or the restaurant in the morning.
