The Paris Hotel

Excellent position and sea views. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Ample car parking. Good quality toiletries.

I don't want to appear critical, but hopefully my comments will be helpful for both potential customers and the hotel owners. Our room was very small - so small that there was no room for chairs. Television was excellent size, but unfortunately live programmes were unavailable. We asked staff for help but were told that we could only watch programmes through the apps - BBC and ITV etc catch-up, Netflix or YouTube etc, so we couldn't watch any of the normal aired programmes such as BBC Breakfast, the news or weather forecasts. The TV was positioned fairly high up, and the room being so small we had to sit on the beds, close-up and looking upwards - rather uncomfortable viewing! We were staying for two nights, and on our first morning there was NO hot water - obviously a fault in the system which I'm pleased to say was rectified for the second day - staff were very apologetic. Unfortunately there were lots of flies in the dining room - I'm sure a simple spray could alleviate the problem. So as I said earlier I hope my comments, both positive and less so will be helpful for everyone.

Great location with lovely view over the sea. Nice outdoor seating area (except car parking). Close at the coastal path.

Beds are very soft, there was no hand soap and bin in the bathroom provided. Breakfast was ok, would be great to have more option for Joghurts/cereal.

Nice friendly place

Unusual location (narrow passing to reach in places), narrow stairway steps, rooms a little tierd, amazing views from rooms, rumbling of the waves very soothing, great watching paddleboarders, good food both evening and breakfast.
