Pousada Terra Encantada

Minha estadia foi ótima! Super recomendo e voltarei mais vezes!

Primeiramente jamais poderia ser um pousada. O estabelecimento é simplesmente um hostel sem a menor condição básica de atendimento. A recepcionista é a cozinheira, doméstica, camareira... realmente Stefanini é muito agradável.No meu quarto havia banheiro privativo, a água extremamente escassa e o chuveiro é péssimo. Banheiro sem nenhuma ventilação. Não existem janelas para acesso a entrada de ar oriundos da rua neste quarto. A roupa de cama é trocada a cada 3 dias. Não havia toalhas de banho disponíveis... implorando consegui 2 toalhas (inclusive 1 delas rasgada) pq precisava lavar os cabelos depois do mar. O vaso sanitário eu mesma tive que desentupir com uma garrafa pet. Não faltou em nenhum momento papel higiênico( esse foi o único ponto positivo do banheiro) Em um final de tarde entrei na cozinha e tinha 2 ratos entre as panelas( um deles embaixo da pia e outro no fogao) Era bastante comum baratas neste local. Realmente o lixo que permaneceu lá atraiu vários ratos... eles andam pela estrutura de PVC forro... que escutamos todas as noites. Em conversa com alguns hóspedes verifiquei que o valor pago do dia 30 e 31 foi um preço e depois do dia 1 até dia 4 esse valor foi infinitamente menor. A comida era feita com água da torneira, não existia um local para armazenar as loucas, armários abertos e por esse motivo a probabilidade de doenças é enorme ali.

The acomodations was terrible. I was booked a private room however I had to accross a shared room to access my room it was insane. The room was smaller, unsuvivor to acomodate 4 people and also so dirty as the bathroom. All the time when I took a shower the bathroom flooding, and became a swiming pool. The staff most of the time were umpolite and not help anythink. They dosen't replace the food in the coffee claiming to have no more food, I've never had a nasty situation like the situation that I lived in the Surf House. Defenitly I don't even recommend it to my enemies!!!!

EL PEOR HOSTEL DEL MUNDO. I have had many hostels in my life, but this was by far the worst I have ever been too. Me and my sister booked a private room with a private external bathroom. When we arrived we did have a private room, but to get to it we had to walk through another dorm. this was a bit anoying because we could hear everything from other people, and when other people where sleeping or being in the dorm we always had to desturp them. Also the private bathroom wasn’t there. We asked the staff about it but at first they didn’t want to do something about it, and they didn’t spoke a lot of English or Spanish. Eventually they gave us the key to the women bathroom (for all the other people staying there there was only 1 toilet and shower left) and when we were gone they would still let other people use the “private” bathroom. We didn’t mind sharing if we didn’t pay for it, but since there was this option on booking we did pay a higher price to get one. So this was all very weird. Beside that the place is nothing like the pictures. The pictures are old and misleading. The place wasn’t very clean. You can see bugs on the matress, the breakfast was very limited and the distance to the city is quite far. Also there is no wifi in the hostel. You have to walk to a field in de back where you can use some internet. But in all honesty, I wouldn’t recomend going to the Island at all. Everything is very expensive, and they make tourist pay more. A tour in portuguese is $200, but when you want one in English you pay +$1000, and when looking for laundry the price of washing one pair of underwair is $20… And even when you pay the money the options for what you can do is still limited since some parts are not able to go to, some only with guide and some places where you can go a lot is not allowed. If you decide to go prepare for this, and choose another place to stay. we would not recommend this one.

- the staff was super friendly and trying to make us comfortable, even got us more fruits and yoghurt for breakfast after i complained - the location is good. 10 min walking from boldro beach, 3 min walking from the visitors center and bus stop - we were able to handwash our clothes and hang them outside

We booked the quadruple room with external private bathroom. 1. We had to go through a mixed dorm room to get to our room. 2. The room was tiny, had only 2 bunk beds, no space to store luggage. 3. We DID NOT have a private bathroom. We had to share with everyone else, the two bathrooms they had. No wifi! It was not working during the time we stayed there. It is apparently common on the Island for the internet to be bad or go out for weeks at a time. There are a few spots around the island where free wifi is available. We tried to get some of our money back since the room was not as described, but the owner did not think it necessary. For this price we definitley expected more! The common space is also not very inviting to just sit down and chill in the evening. The bathrooms were okay. The first breakfast was disappointing. No fresh food. No fruits or vegetables. They had bread, butter, cheese, meat for the bread, cake, couscous but only with meat inside. That was served every day. After complaining to the staff about it, they arranged for fruit every morning! They said sometimes they have some, sometimes not. I dont know.
