Lovely staff and beautiful location. Hang out by the pool watch the sunset and the surfing. Short walk alonb the beach to El tunco.

Everything was great

We really enjoyed Casa de Mar. The location is amazing for your surf session right out front. You can easily walk to El Tunco for lunch and shopping. I had a great yoga session on the upper deck! Definately the surf and yoga were highlights. You have two choices of places to enjoy your meals as well. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice pool, lovely views. Really nice and accommodating staff. We had the Ocean View room with Terrace and enjoyed the views. The location on the beach was wonderful, we were able to walk to El Tunco along the beach in 10 minutes in low tide.

Perhaps adding a refrigerator or coffee maker in the rooms would be a nice touch:) But overall, it was perfect.

The hot water smelled like pipe water. I don't know how to describe it other than unpleasant. Also, The room had a very strong humidity smell that didn't go away with anything.

Not worth the price at all. Very worn down property (nothing like the pictures here). Bed and couch were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced at a hotel and couldn’t even get a good nights sleep

The hotel is fine, except they do false advertisement, and promise two rooms in a suite, when there only one single room.

I booked the Ocean View Suite. It clearly says in the description - 1 living room with sofa bed and 1 SEPARATE bedroom. What I got is just one bedroom, no separate room whatsoever. Just one rectangular bedroom with two beds and one sofa bed, all in one space, no separation. When I asked the front desk where is my separate living room that is in the reservation - they stopped understanding English, very conveniently. So instead of putting my son into a separate living room, we had to all sleep together in one room, which was not what I wanted and not what I booked, at $260 a day. This is false advertisement and I want my money back.
