Blind Tiger Burlington

Beautiful property, nicely appointed, with a thoughtful approach to guest's needs. We loved the breakfast, as well as snacks, coffee and water available throughout the day. Communication was easy, and the property is conveniently located with plenty of parking.

It's difficult to complain about price because even though it is a bit higher than a typical hotel stay, the value for money is still there.

We did not have the same experience of the glowing reviews and we would NEVER stay there again. Couple things of note listed in the advertisements for this establishment, not necessarily “bad” but guests need to know. There are no TVs, no diary free or gluten free items in their snacks and “toast bar” and it is not a “leisurely stroll” to downtown. It takes 20-25 minutes and it is all uphill on the return. I do appreciate eccentric and “artsy “ furnishings but they need to be useful. Our room had two useless old beach chairs in the bedroom and rickety bedside tables and both the overhead lights and bedside lamps were dim , making it very hard to read books. But what happened Friday night is a major cause for concern. For context , the hotel does NOT have overnight staff on premises from 7;pm to 7 am. And we rarely saw staff except for breakfast . We were awaken at 11:30 pm to the alarm in the next room (third floor) stating to evacuate immediately. After checking for smoke , we called the after hours number which is an answering service who were to call the manager on duty. During this time, the alarm is still blaring waking up the entire place. The alarm blared for about 30 minutes and then stopped . Still hadn’t heard from the manager on duty. So we reluctantly went to bed. At 12:30 am the alarm went off again and still never heard the manager on duty. The anaswering service said to call the 911 which we did and the fire trucks came and checked everything. It is now 1:30 am . Still nothing from the MOD. We reluctantly went to bed about 2 am and slept fitfully. For $350.00 a night , we didn’t feel we needed to be responsible for calling the fire department etc. what if it was a real fire? Or something worse? NO ONE ever answered the call. Needless to say we would never stay here again or another LARK hotel establishment

Delicious breakfast from local places.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Blind Tiger Burlington. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, inviting, and beautifully curated. Our room, “Gold Glitter,” was gorgeous, so cozy and comfortable with a truly unique layout. We had such a peaceful night’s sleep and woke up to snow gently falling, which made it even more magical. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The vibe was so cozy and inviting that we decided to bring dinner back from a few amazing restaurants in Burlington, a true foodie haven, all within 5–10 minutes of the hotel. One of our favorite moments was relaxing in the great room/solarium while enjoying our meal. We also met other guests and instantly felt like friends. It’s clear they attract people who are just as warm as the hotel itself. A huge thank you to Paige, Emaline, and Katrina, who went above and beyond. Their genuine hospitality truly made the stay special. We can’t wait to come back.

Super cute and charming place ! We came to visit UVM and wanted my son to have an authentic Vermont vibe. This place did the job.

Blind Tiger is absolutely amazing! Great breakfast spread and the vibes are on point. We’ve stayed at both Portland and Burlington and love them both! Highly recommend!!
