Hotel San Julio

We recently stayed at a wonderful hotel that exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was perfectly presented, featuring clean, crisp white linen and tasteful decor. The newly renovated bathroom was both modern and inviting, adding to the overall comfort of the space. Each unit faced a beautiful central area, creating a serene atmosphere. All important details were taken care of such as a water tap to rinse ones feet on arriving from the sandy beach. The room itself was spotless and equipped with convenient amenities, including a fridge and facilities for making hot and cold drinks, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a refreshing evening drink. The layout also included a cosy sitting area under a straw roof, offering a unique and pleasant space to relax. What made the experience even more special was the direct access to the beach—ideal for a seamless transition from comfort to the outdoors. The room I stayed in featured two double beds, providing ample space and comfort. Overall, the attention to detail and thoughtful design of the accommodation made for a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of comfort, style, and convenience. Close to the village centre and the sandy beaches.

Casa is on the beach, with long chairs and swings to relax. Rooms seem to be new or renovated. Fridge in the room; hot water and coffee in a shared space. Very good panaderia 3 minutes walk.

Nothing, perfect spot for backpacker

Very clean with everything you need, especially directly on the beach and close to the Center of Celestún Trully recommend !

Wow! It's ON the beach! Very clean and easy to find. Fridge in the room was really helpful.

There were a couple of cockroaches but I know that's it's normal in warm climates and not necessarily a sign of uncleanliness (the place was spotless). I didn't bother them and they left me alone too. We had a mutual understanding lol!

Location was perfect, next to great restaurants and tour boats. Beach outside the door with loungers and swings for relaxing. Very clean. Mattress and pillow protectors and rooms cleaned daily. Refrigerator was convenient and water and coffee were available. Room darkening shade and curtains. Quiet rooms away from traffic. Very good value.

Worse mattresses to try to sleep on ever. We like firm, but these were extremely hard. We are an older couple and unfortunately this alone would keep us from coming back (sorry). Unpredictable Wifi. Seemed to shut down every evening.

Right on the beach, very simple but super clean and comfortable. Rooms are Air-conditioned.
