The Lodge at Koh Kood

The room was spotless and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The owner/manager was very helpful. Hot water and good wifi are other plusses.

If you don't have a car or motorcycle, don't stay at The Lodge. The lodge is about 2km from the beach, and hotels for meals. It's about 4km to the nearest shop. The garden is terribly neglected which is a pity. This place has great potential if the garden is cleaned up.

The site and rooms were really well looked after and had everything you would need. The table and chairs outside and washing line were good. The location is about a 5 min walk to the beach, which is accessed through Sea Far resort. There are about 3-3 resorts within walking distance and in the opposite direction is Cafe 9 . The lady whose takes care of the rooms etc is lovely and works so hard. I would recommend hiring a scooter.

communication with the owner/manager was very poor and he made hiring a scooter quite difficult although it all worked out in the end.

No soundproof. My room was in a house with shared patio so I didn’t feel privacy. My neighbours happened to be family with small child who didn’t care about the quiet and I could hear all their noise all the time starting early in the morning. Not relaxing at all. Host was not polite in communicating.

Immaculate property in beautiful gardens everything maintained by one hard-working Thai lady. The rooms are spacious with large comfortable bed, got shower and big fridge. Patio are for sitting outside the room with table and chairs and washing line. 5 minute walk to Tapao beach . We would advise hiring a moped as the nearest places to eat are the 3 beachside resorts...local restaurants nearby but not walking distance at night.

A switch by the bed to turn off the lights would be a better design in the room.

Comfortable house, new and clean, quiet, in a big garden. AC, huge flat screen, fridge, kettle, spacious shower. 2 l water every day, daily serviced. Bed was not too hard, huge and comfy. Central located, 10 mi walk to beautiful beach and village. Motorbike rental, and advised. Coffee shop, little 9 Cafe, nearby. Communications professional.

Good value for money. Room cleaned daily and water etc refied. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff

Shower didn't work on the first evening but it was fixed the following morning.

Clean big Bungalow, you got everything what you need. Daikin air-condition, big fridge…Great value for money. It is near the best part of Ko Kood. I recommend Ao Tapao Beach and both restaurants there - MeDee and Sea Far.

Needs more pillow

Gorgeous, clean new rooms with comfy bed & pillows. The room has a big fridge & you get water bottles on arrival and then restocked when the room is cleaned. Couldn’t fault this property. We were even able to get Netflix up on the tv! Really enjoyed this stay. It is within walking distance to Ao Tapao beach & a lovely cafe called Little 9 cafe! They have really cute cats!
