"Good location"

Good place to stay to visit Son La hydroelectric plant, the biggest one in Asean. Clean and wide room and bathroom. Wide window giving nice view to the main city square. Good staff Poor buffet breakfast due to low occupancy. The room rate should be reasonable in low season.

"Peaceful comfortable stay (with bad food)"

We came here while on a cycling trip and ending up in Son La - decided to book the hotel to hide from the loud madness of the city. The room in the 10th floor had a beautiful view, very spacious and clean and comfortable! Also very good soundproofing, it was very quiet and felt like a little safe space in the not so nice town of Son La. Staff was friendly but hardly spoke English, but worked with translator. The gym was nice for some workout and there's a pool, which we didn't use though.

As Son La literally has no nice restaurant to go, we tried ordering food in the hotel. The fries and burger were a disaster (soggy fries and the 'burger" was just a pale sandwich with sausage on top). Tried the spaghetti too - they actually were cooked perfectly al dente but the sauce was sweet like ketchup. Other dishes we tried to order, like fish, wasn't available. Which is weird if they offer it. The breakfast was equally disappointing. Same selection every day and really nothing great. The same bland rice stuff, pale bread and sweet stuff. Very limited fruit selection and only sugared Jogurt. We struggled finding something nice to eat for breakfast but well, guess that's Vietnam... So prepare for a rather disappointing culinary experience.

Love this hotel. Great location, beautiful hotel, great service and friendly staffs.. good breakfast selection but dinner there is not much to choose from the menu.
