This was kind of a bed and breakfast. The pool was incredible with a beatiful view of the sea and valley below. The owners were nice and fun.

The property is lovely with a stunning view. Facilities are very comfortable, and the owners are absolutely amazing. We visited about 5 years ago and loved it so much, we came back again. There are some great restaurants close by that are fabulous. Boat tours of the island beaches and mangroves were amazing. Road access has significantly improved since the last time we visited.

We found nothing to dislike.

Amazing host/hostess! Stunning views and supremely clean pool, grounds and accommodations!

You can see the photos of the grounds on the website; it's beautiful as marketed. But I'd say the standout feature of this B&B is the helpfulness of the owners. Boca Chica is a very small area and honestly the market in-town never had anything I needed (make sure you come prepared.) However, I was a somewhat difficult guest, needing a few miscellaneous things (i.e. aloe vera for a sunburn) and they were able to accommodate. Erika even volunteered a couple photos and sent them to me. Will definitely be coming back!

The WiFi was having issues. They have Starlink, so I assume they will be able to resolve this. I smoke cigars, and you can't do this on their balcony. But as they explained to me, this is Panama regs thing, not something they can control.

Our casita had a microwave and a coffee machine. It was very clean and comfortable. The view from the hotel is amazing and the stars are wonderful at night. The breakfast was very good. Thank you for everything, Erika and Herbie!

The lodge is amazing, high on a hill with an incredibly steep driveway and a view of multiple islands. From the pool we watched monkeys and iguanas in the trees below; the boat dock where you take water taxis to the island (most of which are marine national parks) is close by and after traveling all my life to some of the most incredible places on earth, this definitely is the icing on the cake. Rarely have i had such a beautiful view from my room and from the pool. Breakfasts are copious and plentiful with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to your liking.

If you read the one star reviews, consider them carefully… the hotel is run by Herbie and Erika. Erika is the kindest, sweetest human being who went out of her way to take care of her guests. Not so Herbie whom I witnessed yelling at his wife in front of guests and speaking ill of other guests to customers. On arrival, we were presented with a two page list of rules and told to read them before we registered. The atmosphere he created was uncomfortable; avoid him.

The location was close to the town to catch transportation for activities. Also, the view from the hotel was the best we have ever experienced. We enjoyed the breakfast and access to beverages if needed. Hostesses Herbie and Ericka very kind and informative. Place was immaculate and infinity pool awesome. Thanks for a breakfast each morning. Lovely place on all fronts except the wifi isn’t good but I just used my cell phone data. The view is amazing! The cleanliness is top notch. The nature around the accommodation is a pure joy to see! It’s a short drive to the beach and to a few restaurants so you have all you need for an amazing stay! If you want snacks just pick some up at a supermarket in Boca Chica village on your way to the property. You will love it here!!!!
