Clarysville Motel

Seemed clean. Had a refrigerator and microwave.

A lot of road noise, but that can't be helped. Curtains weren't room darkening. Window blind in bathroom wouldn't go down all the way, to provide privacy. Seemed silly when the clerk had me move my vehicle over one spot, for no good reason. Kind of expensive, but I think other motels in the area were even more expensive.

For one night, the price was right. My dog fee wasn't much at all either. The laundry room on-site was exactly what I was hoping for; clean and working machines.

This place has been around for decades. My parents used to stay her, my grandparents...they remodeled recently so the rooms are clean. They aren't quite finished yet but they are getting there. The blinds were broken in the bathroom, felt kinda spied on. The room was super duper tiny so if you are a big man, get a bigger room to not feel cramped. The coffee maker was not working. I went to tell the guy in the office, he was not happy I brought it to him, and he did not replace it. Therefore, as a coffee drinker, I had no coffee all afternoon/evening and neither in the morning because the office was closed when I left. Coffee is important to most travelers, so please spend a little to provide that.

It was a good room for the price. My room was very small but that's okay I just needed a place to stay for the night so it was perfect. It had the standard equipment that one would expect in a hotel room it had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a TV set. This is pretty much all you need if you're just spending one night. I would definitely stay here again when I'm out that way.

I thought that a little more care could have been taken cleaning the bathroom there were several hairs noticed on the counter and in the shower. But overall it was a very passable. FYI the hot water in the shower took a very long time to come on so long that I thought I wasn't going to get any hot water. But after a while it came in and it was fine no problem at all. The bedside light did not work and the outlet I'm not certain that it worked either. That was a little inconvenient, however, I was able to plug my phone in over where the microwave was so again it wasn't really a problem.

Great location in our path of travel.

Bed was too small. Booking listed the room as a queen size bed, but upon arrival we discovered it was only a regular double size bed. The room was very small and hard to maneuver around the bed while in our stay.
