It's an excellent location and Anne runs a wonderful guest house. The rooms and dining room are tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. I always enjoy stating at Gordon House. Breakfast is very good and very nicely served.

A lovely welcoming experience, upgraded to a double room with a comfortable bed. We had a tasty cooked breakfast. Also very central for a look around the Minster.

"Last minute overnight to see family."

Very comfortable beds, excellently fan for the hot night,breakfast superb, onsite parking, central to town, very friendly staff, pleasant decor,spotless.

No fault of the host but the friday night town was noisy with heavy music and shouting. Eventually quietened down. Last minute booking only 1 room available ..twin in the roof whose shower room very cramped but at least it was our own bathroom and not shared.would love to experience a bigger room on the middle level.
