Berghotel Franzenshöhe

Dinner and breakfast was good, although the seating was a bit of a squeeze as the guest were all herded into one corner of the restaurant and not spaced out. Parking was good and away form the crowds at the peak. The reception was pleasant and check in was a breeze.

The mattresses maybe needs to be changed or the bed frame adjusted to make sure the mattress is laid flat and sloped, making it hard to sleep on.

Well obviously the drive up and over the Stelvio from Bormio was fantastic but the hotel matched it. The location some 2000 feet below the summit is incredible. The room upgrade a welcome surprise and the owner an absolute delight

Sadly it was cloudy in the morning and we didn't get the full majesty of the view. Can't get helped

Perfect location right on Stelvio Pass. Beautiful!! Property was very clean and simple and the food was great! Super comfortable beds.

Small shower but not that big a deal.
