Hotel Rural Inz-Almaraz

We were cycling and got drenched but were warmly received and let into our cute room early. We were happy to dry out and have a nice glass of wine (and eventually dinner) in front of the fire. Very kind hostess who provided an indoor spot for our ebikes.

A nice place to stay if hiking in the area. The rooms are clean and warm (in November). The bar does food and has a nice vibe.

La comida estaba buenísima y todo en general, muy limpio.

Por decir algo, mejoraría la cama, no me pareció muy cómoda pero tampoco es que estuviera mal. Volvería a dormir en ella…

The room is spacious, the location is great (mostly on high season), the staff was helpful making sure we get to check in even if late. The hotel is cute, and i believe perhaps in high season with things open I would have a lot more things to like.

As mentioned above, this review could have been different, however there are a couple of things that the price does not justify. I don’t know what’s wrong with showers in this lands.. again absolutely no shower curtain, glass, nothing .. of course if you want to take a proper shower the entire bathroom will be soaked, don’t quite understand this one. Then there is the bed, in the pictures it looks tidy, but it’s not comfortable at all, it feels like an old mattress on wood, and it’s for quite a small couple. Then there is the season element, we were told that the restaurant will be closed only 2/3 days before, I would have probably book somewhere else if I knew that, because for dinner during this time of the year is very hard to find anything open in the nearest 20km, the closest would be Ronda. So yes the hotel is cute and staff was pleasant, but for the price several of this items really disappointed. After hiking you want a comfortable stay.
