Malanda Lodge

Regrettably we only booked one night on our return trip from the Lava Tubes to Cairns as the Lodge was an excellent accommodation choice. Reception was extremely friendly and dispensed all important information very efficiently. Luckily we enquired about dining in the restaurant and secured the last table. The accommodation was excellent. The room was large, well furnished , complete with a comfortable lounge. The bed was excellent. The outdoor seating area was an unexpected bonus as it overlooked the extensive well manicured grounds. It was a great spot to enjoy a pre dinner drink. The pool looked inviting, maybe next time. The continental breakfast served in the dining room was very relaxed and civilised. We were luck enough to meet one of the delightful owners Will definitely stop again and longer next time we are in the area. The restaurant review is done separately

Lovely little place near the waterfalls. The restaurant was closed (hence only 4 stars) but the staff was fabulous and the place was clean and safe. The local honey for sale in the lobby was a nice touch. Only down side? We didn't see any platypus. :-(

Booked in for one day, stayed for 3. Rooms are big and clean. Big bathroom. Had a patio out the back where the scrub turkeys came up every morning and afternoon for a visit. Continental Breakfast was great. Staff were so great. So pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open on weekends. The menu looks delicious. Will definitely be staying there again.

Attractive grounds. Nothing else within walking distance. Restaurant and bar were closed. Wi-Fi almost non-existent

Was only there 1 night. Nice peaceful view out the back. And we made a friend out of a bush turkey

Great staff. Good location for other things to do in the broader tablelands areas. Ultra clean.

Fairy lights and fire pit area

Beautiful grounds, good value for money. Friendly staff were very accommodating including early check in. Sadly chef was unavailable at the time as the smokehouse style restaurant menu sounded great.

Exceptional customer service Unfortunately had to cancel our stay. Staff went out of their way to assist. Highly recommend just for the level of customer service. Will definitely be staying when we get the chance. Again highly recommend wonderful caring service

It was ok then only problem was the pool fountain was not working which why I was booking for. The fridge was not working but luckily we reported and they replaced it straight away thanks God
