Luxury stay, once in a lifetime experience.

There really isn’t another house like cascades roundhouse. You really feel part of the rainforest. It’s all open but screened so we had no mozzies or anything inside. The creek is unbelievable - we swam in the most purest clear water with Jungle Perch fish. Then explored the jungle at night with a torch which was also incredible.

Everything was just magical. Some kids dvds would have been a bonus but this place is just incredible. Be prepared to be completely off grid, even the home phone may not work, but you can easily drive to Thorntons beach to make a call. The cascades are right next to the house so also be prepared to hear them all the time. If you need absolute silence to sleep then you might find it a bit hard, but we dozed off to the sounds beautifully in the lower room which can be closed off. I will never forget this place - thank you James & Ali :)

We stayed in The Cottage which was in an amazing, very private location. It was stunning with its own creek with waterfalls. Pristine! The cottage had everything required for a comfortable stay. No wifi/ mobile coverage which we knew before booking. Very comfortable bed. Perfect place to relax and soak up the Daintree Forest.
