Pool area v nice, water was a little warm but it was extremely hot when we were there. Room was v clean and air conditioned. The breakfast/restaurant setting is pleasant and pastries v nice. I would reccomend staying here if you are looking to be outside the city centre and easy access to both lucca and pisa, whilst wanting to relax by a pool.

Shower wasn’t great and was a little disappointed with the decor of the room as it was v basic and didnt have a grand feel like the reception. Also reception and breakfast area are not air conditioned. Very expensive taxis into lucca for just a 10 mins journey. Think they should organise a cheaper shuttle.

The setting is stunning and the grounds are beautiful. The food was good and the dining room and the pool setting were tranquil and relaxing.

Taxis are extremely expensive and so it is best to have a car to stay here. Although there is a bus into Lucca with a bus stop not far from the accommodation.
