Hotel Cotiella

Really good and quiet room. Nice views to the mountains. Everything is clean. You get a breakfast of good quality for what you pay. A great place to plan and enjoy your walkings to the countryside And finally, the staff is simply one of the best you will find.

We used Campo as a hub for a few days travel to the various national parks in the area. Cotiella was a very good place for us to stay. Staff was very nice and the rooms were fine. We also had a balcony which was good. The hotel is also located walking distance from a number of white water rafting companies which made it very convenient to white water raft (which was a lot of fun and also highly recommended to do).

This hotel was booked for a one night stay. We arrived at 5.00pm to a closed hotel, doors locked etc. There was a intercom phone on the wall which we used but to no avail. We tried to tell the person on the end of the phone that we had a booking and would asked them several times to come to the door to see us. Instead they put the intercom phone down on us. We then had to find somewhere else to stay and chose another hotel not far away 'Los Nogales' (highly recommended). Although the owner and his wife spoke no English they were able to help us out with a lovely room and even phoned the other hotel on our behalf to tell them about their attitude and also 'Booking.Com' to explain what had happened to us to enable us to get a refund. So, as we never gained entry to the hotel we can give a review other than to say beware that you may not gain entry.

I stayed at this hotel with friends for one week and found the staff to be most friendly and welcoming, and the location to be ideal for visiting the surrounding area. Don't forget to stroll in the town itself, it has many little surprises to discover. I would also recommend eating at the hotel when you can, and enjoying the awesome espresso coffee. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, their is indoor parking, and it all comes at a very very reasonable price. But I come back to the client service aspect of it all. We were treated like royalty here, better than I have been treated in well-known luxury hotels. The staff treat you like a guest in their house and take the time to give you individual attention which is something we see less and less in this fast-paced world of ours now. I would return to the Cotiella any time, as it would be like returning to see friends!
