Acarsaid B&B

Real family atmosphere to the place. Felt more like staying with friends (with their young kids) than a B&B setup. Lovely home cooked food too. Great stuff all round.

In the room there wasn't a lot of surface space for our 'stuff' and no vanity table for doing make up etc.

Great communication - on the day of arrival James phoned to let us know that the main road was closed and provided us with an alternative route to get to the property. Kirsty and James are very warm and welcoming, introducing us to the family and showing around the guest accommodation. We were in the Orca room which is at the rear of the property, with a small balcony onto the garden. It is beautifully presented with a lovely ensuite shower room, both of which are spacious and immaculately clean. There is also a guest lounge with plenty of room to relax, or even have a game of pool. With limited options available locally, they also now offer a freshly cooked evening meal, and we were glad we took up this offer, as the pies were delicious. There is also a good selection to choose from for breakfast, and I can thoroughly recommend the pancakes. Unfortunately, we only stopped the one night, as it's certainly a place where you could stay longer.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the property owners were a delight to visit with.

Everything about this place is wonderful, from the owners greeting you on arrival to the comfort and decor of the rooms and lounge. We'd absolutely recommend a stay here.

what a fabulous location, super friendly, superb beds and fab food ...truly exceptional host family we loved it all!

Situation géographique idéale, accueil chaleureux, bel espace de vie à partager (avec billard), jardin avec poules et lapins, chambre à coucher spacieuse et calme, petit-déjeuner de qualité (les meilleurs pancakes au monde), possibilité de dîner sur place et même avec des cocktails !! :)

La salle de bain est un peu petite et mériterait une étagère supplémentaire pour poser la trousse de toilettes par exemple. Avec mes enfants, nous avons opté pour les pancakes qui sont délicieux et nourrissants, mais mon mari aurait aimé un petit accompagnement avec ses deux oeufs sur le plat servis avec du pain toasté.
