Beaufort House Inn

Lovely older house near enough to downtown. Welcoming staff. The self-serve toast/bagel & cheese/peanut butter breakfast got us going for the day. We had the Sarah Davidson suite, the whole top floor with nice space for sitting and privacy.

The two flights up were steep with short hand rails. We had to watch our heads on the low ceilings in the attic space rooms.

The staff, coffee, cookies and location were amazing.

I must admit that I was disappointed with the breakfast. When you think of a B&B your think that you're going to have a fantastic newsworthy meal not bagels, yogurt and boiled eggs. I will say the coffee was great!

Beautifully restored home within walking distance of downtown Asheville. Coffee was delicious and the cookies were a special treat at night. Friendly staff, too

The Inn and property were fantastic. You really felt you were in a Southern home. Woodwork made you feel you were in a 19th-century mansion. You couldn't find a more friendly and welcoming hostess. And they saved me a front parking spot, which helped since I'm a little mobility-challenged.

I did have difficulty entering the tub/shower. Couldn't figure out how to operate the Jacuzzi and the TV. Nice there was a portable heater. But bed and pillows weren't comfortable.

It was nestled into other homes. It was walking distance from local restaurants. We missed the in person check in, but they had everything set up for us for a self check in upon our arrival. The charm of the house brought back lots of memories from my childhood and my grandma’s house. Parking was easy.

Amazing, if I needed to have a week away from it all I would fly to the USA to come visit this Inn. From the wonderfully friendly host (I commented how much I liked her homemade granola and she printed me off the recipe) to the beautiful cottage room we stayed in. The room was light, spacious, a shower you could fit a family in and a private balcony. There was parking on site and you can walk to the town where there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. This Inn is amazing value for the area xx

Lovely historic home loving converted to a B&B

The location was great, and the staff was awesome. Sara Judy was so kind and friendly.

The cottage room we stayed in was uncomfortable, with nowhere to relax. There were two arm chairs, but they face the shower. The bed was not very comfortable - the sheets were very soft, but the mattress needs to be updated . The television was extremely small, and there was virtually no Wi-Fi so it was difficult to watch the TV anyway. Not an issue if you’re only there for one or two nights, but with three nights, it’s difficult to not have space in the room you’re staying in to unwind between excursions.
