Residence Villa Rosi

Spent a week there big family reunion, all totally enjoyed , perfect oasis on a cliff of a mountain, views breathtaking, pool area just wow, local food so good, not enough words to describe it all , you have to come and see, feel and taste it all, unforgettable moments Thank you host Gianfranco for a great time!;)

only a small mention perhaps would be nice to have small tennis or pool table , for more active families but then it would ruin all the peace for other ppl, just a thought :)

Villa Rosi is a beautiful residence with modern apartments, a wonderful well-kept garden and a great pool. We couldn't have picked a better place! The apartment was well equipped and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You need a car to get there and while the road is narrow and bendy, it is not so bad as some reviews make you think. Absolutely recommendable if you want to relax for a couple of days or need a base for exploring the beautiful area.

A small remark, as it would be an easy improvement to make Villa Rosi even more enjoyable: it would be nice to offer hand soap and dish soap/sponges for cleaning, as well as trash bags.

Very comfortable, I could not have picked a better option from this area.

The view

The basic items were not supplied eg: water, soap, tea, coffee, sugar, salt pepper. The GPS couldn't find location of villa. Took us to another site. The road up the Mountain was terrible. Room was a small motel sized room.

Everything!! This residence is an absolute gem. We were given villa 4 (2 room apartment - which was a very well furnished 1 x bedroom and 1 x open plan living/kitchen area with large sofa-bed). This villa was hugely spacious and easily accommodated our family of 3 (2 adults and 1 teenager). The view from this apartment terrace was spectacular - a large shaded outdoor dining area over looking Gianfranco’s vineyard, Agropoli and Cilento coast. The 2 aircon units (1 in each room) kept us all very comfortable during the extremely hot weather. We found the kitchen had a gratefully large fridge and plenty of storage so we could easily self-cater for the week - the well-stocked super market in Agropoli (10 minute drive) was a great way to cater on a budget. The swimming pool was the best part of this residence. Although shared with several other apartments it was never too busy, with plenty if shade if required. This pool was just amazing for the hot weather. Gianfranco is so friendly and made us feel extremely welcome - even giving us a bottle of his homemade wine!

Nothing to dislike, but you do need a car! The road up to the villa is steep and tight but is more than manageable and I promise it is worth the drive to the property that awaits!
