"A fabulous B & B in a great location."

We arrived late in the evening after our car broke down earlier in the day en route from Scotland. On arrival Emma and David were extremely warm and welcoming. Very comfortable room and enjoyable cooked breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere. Dog friendly. Lovely walks on the doorstep in and around this quintessential English rural village. Unfortunately due to our late arrival we were unable to sample the delights of the nearby pub. Hopefully we can do that on a future visit minus the stress of a serious car breakdown!

"Outstanding!"

We were helping to run a race event at Silverstone the following day, so this location was perfect. Quiet country house, good night's sleep, friendly reception, and fabulous breakfast. We were given cold milk in a flask so that we could make ourselves hot drinks during our stay which was really lovely. Comfy bed, hot running water, good lighting, squeaky clean, and quiet relaxing ambiance - first class - highly recommend. Outstanding hospitality - thank you Emma x

"Welcoming, cosy and absolutely lovely"

Emma and David were absolutely lovely, were very welcoming and showed us around. Room was so nice and cosy, perfect for the two of us and the bathroom was just as nice. Breakfast was also scrummy and couldn’t have asked for more. No locks on the bedroom or our bathroom door but wasn’t an issue for us as David and Emma were absolutely lovely, however I can see how this could be an issue for some.

Emma and David are wonderful hosts. The area is total escapism, easy to find. The breakfast was marvellous. Fabulous pub 30 metres away for food and drink. Would definitely return.

"Excellent"

Lovely quiet location. Comfy room. Clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Host friendly and helpful. We've travelled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels and B&Bs - this was one the best.
