The Rose Cottage Inn

The bed was a king size comfortable bed with nice linen. Clean fluffy towels and plenty of room in the bathroom. The shower was good and did not have any mould. We stayed in one of the pubs old out buildings that has been converted into accommodation. No frills, clean and private. The only thing to consider is that the headboard backs onto the road. That being said only 3 vehicles passed during our stay. The owner was nice and chatty. The blinds in the bedroom did let the morning sun in they did not black out the room. I like a little sun in the morning so it did not bother me. Great back gardening you are thinking of taking your dog. Great view of the downs and peaceful. Great stay and amazing situation for walking. Short drive to a local brewery (Long Man), Zoo and children's adventure park (Drusilla's).

The cottage was in a v good location, it was very comfortable, spotlessly clean & the owners were really lovely & v helpful

Lovely room, we've stayed here before and love the garden, the tea and coffee and biscuit availability in our room and everything was spotless. Friendly, helpful hosts.

The only reason we marked it 8 is because we felt the bed could be a bit more upmarket and we struggle to find space to put our bags. However, we're aware that this is a budget room.

Really tasty home-cooked breakfast in the morning to set me on the way. Really good location not far off the South Down's Way and a couple of pubs within easy reach which serve food. Lovely area.

La localisation est parfaite, à 15 mn des seven sisters cliffs. Nous étions dans le "Loft". Le logement est en face d'une prairie avec des moutons, en pleine campagne, calme assuré.

Le logement n'avait pas de rideau dans la pièce principale. Nous étions donc réveillés tôt le matin du fait de la luminosité

It was lovely and peaceful, off the beaten track. A very comfortable room with everything we needed at hand. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very helpful. The Inn is very convenient for Glyndebourne. Although my sister and I only stayed for one night, we felt as if we had had a little holiday!
