* The size of the room is appreciable. * The balcony, the overall cleanliness, the welcome as well as the quality of the directions provided are noteworthy; the staff stands out for its kindness and professionalism. * Some comments mention a location far from Syracuse; nevertheless, this element is known at the time of booking and perfectly matched our expectations. * The bedding is comfortable. * The pool and the easy parking are real assets. * The human scale of the establishment is also pleasant. * The breakfast is of good quality, plentiful and regularly restocked when necessary

* The soundproofing… The main major negative point. I filter all my hotels based on this criteria; it is regrettable that this one does not match what is advertised. The noise disturbances are significant: conversations and discussions in the corridors, noises and conversations coming from neighbors’ rooms to the point of distinguishing every word, early morning cleaning moving beds, as well as movements from occupants on the upper floor (chair noises in particular). As a result, wake-ups are very early (between 6:30 and 7:00), even with earplugs and on vacation… it’s hard. Not to mention the upstairs neighbor who came back at 2 a.m. making unimaginable noise. If everyone were respectful of others, my comment might be less negative regarding the soundproofing… As soon as the first hotel occupant is up… you’re also up! * In addition, the curtains are insufficiently blackout.
