good value for money, the breakfast was great. location is slightly out of town. I had my own transport so no issue. clean spacious rooms.

Simple and nice location in Polonnaruwa! The location shown in Google maps is not the location of the guesthouse, but it will lead you to the sign that you need to pass and walk for 3-5 more minutes to find the place. We enjoyed our stay here! The host and his wife are very nice people, they made delicious dinner (chicken curry) and breakfast (rotties with dhal and eggs) for us - real Sri Lankan homemade food - very good. The room was simple and spacious, and had an AC too - nice and budget option for one-two nights. The host knows a lot about Polonaruwa ancient city - don’t hesitate to ask him if you have any questions. He also suggested we take bicycles to explore the ancient city and we were very glad that we did it since the ancient city is huge and would take a lot of time without bikes.

Personally I would close the windows in the bathroom to avoid having insects there, but of course, I do understand that there's so much life in Sri Lanka - it's hard to fight it.

It is pleasure to stay at Jungle View Guest Polonnaruwa. We reserved a family room and it was fully accomplished with all necessaries. Very reasonable fee. No additional hidden charges. The room consist with Air condition and Hot Water shower. And we requested a electric kettle and they provide it very quickly. Owner and his family are very helpful and kind people. they talk with us very politely and always in pleasant faces. Location is very calm and nice surrounding. No one disturbed us. Room is clean and tidy and great space. Location situated heart of the Polonnaruwa ancient city. very easy to access. It was a nice stay. Thank you Jungle View Guest to give us a happy lodging.

Situated at about 200 mtr a from main road. The trail to the house is well marked. House is peaceful. Close to Polonnaruwa ancient city. The breakfast was nice.

WiFi was slow.

Chambre immense avec une grande salle de bain.... Petit déjeuner monumental qui compense la quasi absence de wi fi....Jardin idéal pour tout amoureux de nature et des oiseaux,des écureuils et des singes (vite chassés par le propriétaire)...Repas sur mesure,non épicé et végétarien et à un prix imbattable.... 400 roupies par personne et je vous défie de tout finir.... Copieux ou plutôt Gargantuesque est le mot....Vélo ancien mais acceptable pour ce prix 350 roupies...Le propriétaire est aussi guide français et anglais....Eau chaude....Réveil de bonne heure (7h) car ce jeune homme déplace les chaises sur le balcon. .....Un gentil couple et une femme souriante et très posée....Leur repas nous manque déjà alors que l'on est qu'à 70 km. Chambre neuve et propre.... Si vous arrivez de Anuradhapura en bus faites vous arrêtez en suivant votre GPS, c'est juste avant le centre ville.
