Drumhoney Holiday Park

location was great, close to area planning to walk. park itself was well maintained an new. good facilities for children. communal shower/toilet block very clean. Pod was lovely and warm. kettle and microwave available. staff very friendly and waited for us to arrive as we were delayed.

mattresses in pod very hard. Light switch at far end of pod - not easy to find when arriving in dark - no light in porch area. have stayed in other pods across Scotland for similar price - majority have at least toilet facility in pod. in future would not book accommodation without toilet facilities.

The little pigs and rabbits were lovely, and there's farmland all around. The lake is stocked with trout for fishing . There is a games room and indoor soft play, playground etc. All spotless .

I didnt not like anything. It really is a great place to go with children.

The lodge was lovely and clean.

The holiday park outdoors was family-friendly. The Lodge was okay. It was very clean. Would stay again, but likely in a caravan, the lodge wasn't really practical for an active 1 year old that we have. Animal walk is nice for the kids. Staff were lovely.

There isn't really enough space for travel cot in the double room. The bed was on wheels, so we were able to move it across to the wall to make room for the cot, but otherwise, our daughter would have had to sleep in it in the living area- which wouldn't have been ideal. We used a washing machine on site for our baby clothes, and they came out stinking of stale smoke. It took a further 2 washes to get the smell out of them. So if staying again, I'd just wait and wash everything when I get home.

The showers took a qhile to warm up and turned off so fast.

We have stayed here in our touring caravan many times and every year it just gets better. Excellent site with amazing facilities, great location and really friendly welcome. The woodland walks are really lovely for walking and our dog loves it. Also highly recommend a visit to Castle Archdale Boat Hire at the marina, loads of activities including stand up paddle boards and hydro bikes.
