Woodfield Manor - A Sundance Vacations Property

We stayed for two nights for a quick getaway. Everything was clean and quaint. Pool was clean and well cared for. Perfect for a hot day. It was far away enough for complete quiet but close enough to grocery stores and shopping. We did not try the attached restaurant but from the amount of people eating there, it looks popular!

This was a quaint place to stay! It was cute, clean, and well taken care of! The building was older so it had its quirks...small bathroom, slanted floors, having to step down into our room, and no elevator, just a long flight of steps outside the back of the building. So, having to use these steps multiple times a day (if you have any type of physical issues), and especially at the beginning and end of our trip when bringing luggage in and out, was a chore! There was also no room service of any kind (we stayed for 1 week), not even a check on garbage, if we needed cups, tissue, coffee refreshed, etc. All of this was available upon request, however, at the front desk so we were still able to have our needs met.

Staff very friendly on arrival. Cottages were perfect. Pool was great. Only for downfall for us, was no place close to pick a quick bite or breakfast

Loved the quiet and old fashioned feel of everything

The cabin was very nice, I liked it due to it not being attached to other cabins. Everything inside was very nice, it did lack a sink in the kitchenette area. The coffee pot is extremely small and takes a very long time to brew a cup of coffee.

My husband and I had an event at the local casino whose rooms were booked so we found this property by accident. We stayed only one night as to be back to work the next day so it was only a "crash pad" since we live 45-50 minutes away. The room was clean and the bed was very cozy. We had a coffee maker and the coffee provided was very good. The woman who checked us in was friendly and provided a history on the property which was very informative and interesting. Some day we would like to spend more than one night to take advantage of all the amenities. There was a bar and restaurant within the facility but we were unable to review due to the event we were attending, We definitely would like to stay again and would recommend to others.

We had a little cottage. Ate at Frogtown Chophouse on-site. Was,delicious. The staff were very nice. Wonderful time!
