Dabdab Tourist Inn

Location was good. Beds were good, and the room was generally clean.

1. The hosts didn’t reply to message request before our stay. 2. They sell underground river trips priced at 2100 per person (without food), which is quite high of a price when you can just walk 500m to the peer and arrange it yourself with way less money. The underground river trips run all day and they are anyway arranged in arrival order, so there is no benefit in doing the extra hustle trying to arrange it through your accommodation, unless you are located all the way in Puerto Princesa. In our stay there, it cost 2300 per person, including a van ride and food. So there is absolutely no justification for the 2100 / person at this place. 3. Wifi never worked 4. No warm water 5. Often there was no personnel on-site / at the reception. We had problem using our room key, but there was nobody to be found or to be contacted.

Each Room is big with balcony outside you can stay. The beds inside are big. Aircon is comfortable. The area is secluded, its like you have a hidden paradise garden. They have a lot of pets who stroll around the establishments. Walls are covered with sea creature and bamboo design which is typical of the locally owned resorts. The staffs are receptive of our requests even in the wee hours. There is a personalized service for every room for hot water and coffee not like others who has common areas for sharing.

They do not have hot water for shower so its very hard to take a bath at night when its cold. The door lock is not functioning properly maybe it needs to be replaced. The dogs and cats are too friendly they can knock on your doors, take your slippers or sit on your clothes. The lights are too dim. There are no signages before going and even in front of the inn so we had to ask around or go to a spooky alley to check where it was.

Great locations and our host Margret was amazing and extremely helpful, even arranging excursions last minute for us. The term you get what you pay for applies and overall even with the negatives I would stay again

The facilitate basic which is fine, however the doors aren't sealed and the screens need replacing so I did get bitten by bugs at night. There isn't hot water and the pressure is so low that you need to bucket wash yourself

Clean room with interesting wall paintings. Free drinking water. Walking distance to everywhere.

Smelly water, no soap, shampoo, no hot water. Would be a good value at $20 a night, 40+ seems excessive but it is a high tourist place.

Beautiful garden, convenient to walk into the little town, bed and pillows were comfy! Decor was interesting! Breakfast was not bad either.

Not much water pressure, asks the check in was unnecessarily confusing.

Der Empfang war sehr unfreundlich, insbesondere als wir der Dame mitgeteilt haben, dass wir die Undergroundriver Tour bereits selbständig gebucht haben (und sie uns somit nichts verkaufen konnte) wars definitiv vorbei mit der Höflichkeit. Das Frühstück wird um 7:15h auf die Terrasse gestellt, egal ob man wach ist oder nicht. Wenn man dann etwas später aufsteht laufen bereits die Ameisen auf den Teller rum… Die Dusche ist die reinste Zumutung, extrem dreckig und verschimmelt und das Wasser läuft in einem dünnen Strahl direkt an der Wand entlang. Es gibt zwar ein wifi Passwort, aber weit und breit kein Netz…
