"Beautiful place to stay in but with issues"

It was a very beautiful place to be in .

The staff was ok , but their knowledge of English wasn't . Furthermore : the restaurant was closed and after dark it wasn't recommended to go outside the premises because of the wild elephants wandering around . So no food the first night . No beer or alcohol at the bar (perfect location next to the pool) .

Large clean rooms Fridge Clean shower Close to Sigiriya Rock Short Tuk Tuk ride to restaurants / cafes.

Building work ongoing / so not very relaxing if wanting to sit outside your accommodation No onsite shop to buy water / drinks No prices on show for breakfast or pool bar.
