old style charm and great food.

Absolutely appalling behaviour well into early hours of morning by drunk locals in beer garden Screaming ,yelling and fighting and running up and down balcony Was scary and nothing was done

An old large pub with rooms upstairs. The pub is past it's heyday, but the rooms were fine: clean, comfortable and quiet. The bar was full of characters when we were there, and was an enjoyable place to have a few drinks. Parking is at the back of the pub.

Nothing to dislike

1. Took 40 minutes to check in because everyone who wanted a beer got served first before the bar maid would go and get the manager to check me in. 2. Building was borderline condemned and certainly not fire safe; it was another backpacker hostel fire waiting to happen. 3. French doors leading onto communal balcony wouldn’t lock. Used some cable ties I had to stop them from falling open.

Water pressure in showers could have been better , only bad thing to say
