Great location and great staff

We loved everything but I have one suggestion for the management regarding transportation. They charge outrageous money than outside market. I hope they take care of this.

I've been traveling to quite a few places around the world, be it in Europe, Mexico, Morocco, Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Japan or the Philippines and even to West Africa - and I have rarely come to a hotel in which everything is so professionally organized. And when you get to know the people from the staff and realize that most of them have a lot of experience in tourism and have been working in hotels all over the world - be it the people managing the restaurant or the front manager himself - then you can understand why this is so at Yog Niketan. The restaurant is an absolute highlight, especially the breakfast (Massala Dosa at its best), and you have a lot of included offers such as daily yoga and meditation courses and a free "tea-time" in the late afternoon including snacks and cookies. The location at the ghats of the Ganges is probably one of the best in the whole of Rishikesh, it is not so crowded as in the main town (Triveni Ghat) and still close to the Ramjhule bridge from which you can get to the other side of the Ganga which to me is the nicest spot in Rishikesh. I can only recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Rishikesh - see for yourself! :-)

The WiFi connection is not that fast, but this is due to the location which is in between two hilly stripes on either side of the river. They still offer separate WiFi hot spots for your room, though, and as long as you do not plan to stream hours-long movies (why would you do that in a place like Rishikesh anyways), it is totally ok.

Great hotel! The location is excellent with everything in town being easily walkable along the river and using the two bridges to cross the water. The food was excellent! We loved the free yoga and meditation! The room was very nice and comfy! The shower was the best we had in India!

The Location is undoubtedly the best. View of the Ganges from the bed. Tastefully decorated Boutique Hotel. Beautiful outside space, lovely spa. Mr Negi, Hotel Manager was always around to make your stay comfortable. The meals were excellent. Mr Rohit and Staff made every meal enjoyable, and would cater for everyones choices. Excellent Hotel. Will definitely be back. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice, clean, great wifi, great restaurant and yoga/meditation classes. Right by Ganga river

La vue au bord du Gange est exceptionnelle, le personnel aux petits soins. Les repas sont délicieux . Petit déjeuner dans le jardin au bord de l’eau : fantastique Excellent emplacement.

Cours de yoga qui pourrait être un peu plus complet .
