The local staff were lovey

Unsafe - Terrible!! - electric shocks in the bathroom (through the shower walls, taps and water) - No water - Food poisoning - Blocked toilets - Badly maintained Where to start! We booked 7 nights, we only stayed 3 nights and had to leave because it’s so unsafe The management is incompetent. And will not take responsibility for anything. The whole place has not been maintained Our bathroom was giving us electrical shocks. After complaining, we were advised it was fixed- luckily I tested it before my kids got in the shower. The water gave me an electrical shock all the way done my one side When we complained again we were advised that there is now no water in the whole resort, because the one and only pump is broken. So they needed to fix the pump first and then only they can fix the electrical problem (this would make sense if the plumber and the electrician where the same person- they where not) After not showering for a few days, be told they would bring us a bucket to flush the toilet (the bucket never came) - they just said they don’t know what the problem is, the water is back (we left at 2pm with still no water) They offered the owners private room which was completely unsuitable as it was full of his personal belongings. Also my husband and I fell quite a few time, there’s a lot of slimy and lifted stones, my husband even fell into a hole that was in the path. Don’t make the same mistake we did, the location is not great, the beach is dirty, and sea is not good for swimming - much nicer places to stay!! This accommodation should not be allowed on Bookings.com (it gives bookings.com a bad reputation)

The food was very good. The swimming pool was lovely to have and the staff was lovely.

The property is very run down and very expensive for what it is. It's a shame it doesn't have a bar to have some cocktails. Also couldn't use Visa card

Es un remanso de paz, precioso, con unas vistas muy bonitas, y las instalaciones muy bien cuidadas.

El servicio del restaurante, muy lento. Una hora cada día desde que pides la comanda hasta que la sirven. La comida está rica. Bastante alejado de todo. Necesitas moto o un transporte para poder ir a cualquier sitio (cosa típica en Sumba)

Really nice place with cute bungalows and two pools right next to an amazing beach. It's a great location with lots to explore in the area. Wifi worked well, staff was very friendly and helpful and good food at the restaurant.
