Great little get away. Very friendly.

Nice property with a great bar and restaurant for relaxing and hanging out. You can tell the lodging is dated, but it's been well cared for and recently painted. The shower head was loos and could be pulled 2 to 3 inches out of the wall, and the water pressure was a bit low. I'd stay again, it was nice and the staff was super friendly.

We stayed at this property for a total of 6 nights across two different weeks. The rooms were clean overall but had some insect issues (there were fruit flies and a couple of small spiders in my room). Not that big of a deal to me as the sheets and towels were clean and the water was hot. These things sometimes go with the territory. The onsite restaurant has sporadic hours and is often closed due to staffing issues. The wi-fi was working the first week until a lightning storm and then it went out. The next week when we returned, we did not have any at all and the cellular is poor at best on Verizon. While we were there, the rooms were quiet generally and the river view is nice. It's a place to crash after working in the area or perhaps passing through. Not a place I would necessarily stay as a "destination"but again, options are limited in this area.

Rooms were clean but a bit dated and musty. The outside walkways in front of the rooms needed some cleaning and I did not like the fact that they had smoking areas right outside the room doors. Nobody was outside smoking while I was there but it would have been annoying if that had happened. Staff was friendly and the view from the rooms is quite nice. Parking was easy and free. Location is close to Thompson Falls. Towels could be a little higher quality as some of them you could tell had been around for a while. They did look clean however and smelled a bit like bleach. Rooms seemed quiet and didn't get bothered by noise or other tenants. We were there for work so it was a decent place to stay to get some rest.

Beautiful scenery and hiking options

We rented a room here as it looked like a great place with lots of amenities. When we arrived, we learned restaurant was not only closed that night for supper but would also be closed for breakfast as well. Thought, no problem we could go to the lounge, have a drink, some appetizers, play some pool, and video gambling machines. Nope... not today!! Even though the sign out front said bar was opened till 11pm that night. When my husband checked in, he was told closed at 9pm. No bowling alley open either, closed! Absolutely nothing to eat or do. Owner recommended going to town to eat. NOPE... everything closed for the night except for a gas station. If you are only looking for a room to stay in, this place would probably be ok, yet very overpriced!! If you are looking for a little more to do and relax and enjoyed your stay, keep driving down the road. As there is nothing to see here. FYI... The beds were so squeaky, we thought we would keep each up all night if anyone moved. The room was clean (except for a cobweb and a couple stains in the carpet, the shower was hot, and we did have access to Wi-Fi. Also had microwave and fridge.

Excellent scenery! Great old time fell! Takes you back in time! Great decor! Spotted lots of wildlife!
