CAWe stayed for 2 nights here and had the B row of rooms in the second building which had stunning mountain views. The sunset was amazing from the balcony. The room itself was very spacious with 2 twin beds, a tv and few night table stands and a clothing rack with hangers. The washroom was also spacious. There were ants in the washroom but we didn’t leave any food in our luggage so they weren’t a worry. The tap in the bathroom was loose as well causing a bit of work when washing your hands. The shower was one of the best pressure ones that actually held on the wall. Good quality toilet paper and fans and AC worked well. The WiFi did not work in the room and had to go closer to the lobby area. Bring a padlock for the locker “safety boxes”. Shoes must be removed at the entry to lobby and there is an area to place your dirty shoes (since it’s rainy season and the roads are quite muddy). Recommend wearing washable sandals. Depends what you need from a hotel and if you like views, try to get rooms B201-203. Good walking distance to night markets and shops/restaurants. Would stay here again.
GBThis is a very basic hostel. The Wi-Fi works okay which is a bonus. The beds were very comfy but the bathrooms were open with a slight smell from the drains. The stairs were a pain and there is not lift. The breakfast was very disappointing.
LAYes definitely just for the view. If you looking for a good bathroom and other amenities forget it. this place fails for a standard of cleanliness and workable faucets. If you want to just stay here for the view be my guest but if you want a good night sleep and with a good shower experience, please look somewhere else.
GBWent to this hotel with a G adventures trip (wouldn’t recommend G adventures - awful hotels and extremely over priced!). Our air con and hot water didn’t work, there was human excrement on the floor of the bathroom and there was only breakfast enough for a select number of guests. The hotel staff are also extremely unhelpful.
