Villa Lucas

Die Lage war einzigartig, alles in der Nähe. Das Haus an sich sehr schön, leider sieht man, dass es nach vielen Jahren eine gründliche Renovierung gebrauchen könnte, die Betten klein, Innen mussten wir lüften, es roch nach Feuchtigkeit, Ausstattung ok, aber vieles auch schon sehr alt. Man sieht dass man nicht viel ins Haus investiert. Der Garten riesig und schön, der Pool ein großes Plus, die Besitzer sehr nett und Daniel hilfsbereit.

The pool is lovely and the property is a very traditional rustic finca. We enjoyed the outside patio and chairs the most as well as the pool which was a lovely temperature. The kids enjoyed the table tennis. It was a good location and had lovely views and was nice and quiet which is what we wanted. It had plenty of options in the kitchen. You do need to drive everywhere - I only say this so other people expect it. It was not an issue for us.

The TV was set to German language and there was absolutely no way to change this. People had mentioned the bugs and mosquitos and the airconditioning and they are not wrong. There are three bedrooms - only two of the rooms have airconditioning. The other has a fan and there is a portable airconditioner which does a little but not much. You cannot open the windows to let in the fresh breeze because there are NO screens so all the bugs come in - we are Australian, we know bugs! We sprayed the rooms, we sprayed ourselves and kept things closed and we still were bitten. Lots of dead bugs in pool that need to be scooped out too. It is quite run down - its comfortable but you need to be prepared for rustic.

Pool was very cold. And not very clean. Bedding was really poor quality and had a smell. The whole property had smell of drains. Was not very clean. But the host was very quick to reply about any issues

garden is beautiful, place is peaceful and calm. Swimming pool is big enough and clean. Outside area with grill is also great. Also communication with the host Daniel was good and was very helpful.

It really needs air conditioning in every room - in one bedroom it was missing and it was imposible to cool down the room in hot summer. Also a mosquito net for sleeping would be nice because there is lot of insects.
