Great hotel, and great staff. Most of them spoke English quite well, and there were only a handful of times when I had to use Google Translate to get by with the front desk. The hotel breakfast buffet was quite nice and a relatively large eating area. It does get quite busy though with the guests, as this is a relatively big hotel. Overall I was satisfied with my stay and enjoyed the location of this hotel very much.
Excellent hotel stay! Rooms were updated amenities are abundant and location is conveniently across the street from Kyoto station. Really especially enjoyed the lounge with beverages for guests. Highly recommended and I miss it already.

Great breakfast
This hotel was very pretty inside. The sento bath was amazing. A true gem! So relaxing and well designed. We loved the pj's provided. The fitness center was also great. We used the massage chairs a few times as well. The one thing we would change is the combo washer/dryer. Our clothes never dried so we had to take them to a close by laundromat. We would stay again- so close to Kyoto station for bus and train adventures.
The room was very nice and plush, the beds were very comfortable, and the sink/shower/toilet area was very convenient and spacious/private enough for use by multiple people.

Excellent room and facilities close to Kyoto Station. Great base from which to explore Kyoto and surrounds. Friendly, thoughtful and helpful staff.
