Antheia Beach Resort

Location on the beach. Good food. No mosquitos. Clean beach and garden. Very nice local men ( sorry, I forgot your name again) who cook, organize trips, help you in any situacion. You can not miss him, he is doing everything with a lot of energy. If it wasnt him in the place, the pkace will not survive.

Many big cocroaches coming ftom the walls at dark. No one or two, many of them. Worms and frogs in the bathroom. No place to put luggage. Noise from neighbor AC (we felt like in soundbox). We slept on the beach first night, then we left and go in another hotel near beach (clean, cold and with no little creatures) for the same price. You just dont get what you pay at Athenia "resort". Attitude from the " boss".

Endroit magnifique, hôtel les pieds dans l'eau, sur la plage de Nilaveli. Magnifique plage. A 20mn en tuktuk de Trincomalee. L'équipe est très sympa, et au petit soin. Juste à côté de l'hôtel , possibilité de faire une excursion en bateau pour aller voir les dauphins ou du snorkelling.

L'emplacement est idéal les pieds dans le sable, le petit déjeuner servi par Rada est délicieux face à la mer juste idyllique. Tout le personnel était aux petits soins pour nous, ADORABLES!!! On a vraiment passé un superbe séjour, on a même prolongé et on revient sans hésiter !!! Encore merci à toute l'équipe !!!! We love you!!!! 😘❤️❤️❤️

Location was really good and also very kind staff.

Facilities were not good. The shared bathroom was unhygenic. Also there was a squirrel in our room who destoyed our bag, because the door couldn’t close enough.

Das Antheia liegt wunderschön in einem kleinen Palmenhain direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist unglaublich, man fällt aus der Hütte direkt ins Meer. Direkt davor ist eine kleine Beach Bar mit leckeren Cocktails, essen kann man entweder im Antheia selbst oder ein paar Meter zum nächsten Restaurant gehen. An sich hat man hier alles was man braucht. Der Staff ist nett und hilfsbereit, das "Frühstück" nachmittags nach dem Tauchen zu bekommen war auch kein Problem. Wir hatten hier ein paar fantastische Tage.

Wir hatten eine "Villa" mit Bad für vier Personen gebucht. Die Villas stellten sich als normale Cabanas heraus, und die eine mit Bad war nicht für vier Personen ausgerichtet. Aircon war drin, aber ansonsten sehr rudimentär (inkl einer Maus, die uns nachts besuchte und dies und jenes anknabberte). Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gut, insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften, die wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Man zahlt halt für die Beachfront, und daher muss man klarhaben, was die eigenen Prioritäten sind.

Great place to stay loved it quite rustic but so relaxing. Staff were amazing and the food was great. Highly recommend.so

Some building work but not a problem. The immediate beach was litter free but the surroundings could be cleaned. Loved it here
