Hotel Sapana Garden

The hotel is hidden at the end of an alley and difficult to find. Room was described as a luxury double but it was a standard room on the small side and lacking a wardrobe where to put clothes. Breakfast was very poor and only one cup of coffee allowef - i thought it was a joke. I booked the hotel based on reviews but i think they must be written by frienfs of the staff. Staff in the restaurant were friendly but not the staff behind the front desk. Will not stay here again and do not recommend.

I highly recommend it for everyone because we stayed here for two days with my family with a unforgettable remember and experience like a lovely family environment with delicious food and neat and clean hospitality. Everybody looks helpful, polite, respectful, nice . I am really thankful to everyone and especially to Mr Ishwar (owner).

We stayed at Sapana garden in our first time visiting Kathmandu, we chose this place by reading reviews and we were very happy during our stay. A/C, great location, has 2 access ways to the hotel, very handy as Thamel is very crowded with narrow streets. Breakfast was good, very friendly staff, market is just out the street, you can walk to various places from there or take a taxi by dealing the price before you hop in, diary or restaurants nearby, also Hotel has its own restaurant. Great experience, we would love to go back.

I stayed both before and after trekking for a week and they stored some of my luggage which was great. Good service, friendly staff and good food in the restaurant.

I’m very happy enjoyed few days in Hotel Sapana Garden while return from Annapurna Circuit Location: • Very convenience • 20 minute (By Taxi) – from hotel to airport (leave hotel at Tue 17:30) • Walking distance: • 1 minute -- Money exchange shop, local restaurant, small shops…, • 5 minutes – Busy Street, trekking shop, big supermarket, book store, different kind of restaurants, shops… • 5 to 10 minutes - Garden of Dreams and Narayanhity Palace Museum • 20 minutes - Kathmandu Durbar Square • 40 minutes – Swayambhunath (No entry fee) FYI… As hotel is not in big street, please pay attention for a tall and light green building https://goo.gl/maps/4kCHStLuaFTqvZuEA Room: • Clean, Big, Stylist, New, Good lighting, nice terrace (good for dry clothes) and Silent (hotel hide in small street), • Air con, Hot water shower, TV (many channels e.g. Star, Sony…), hot water boiler … are in good condition, • Power will suspend occasionally (seem City issue) but recover very soon, • Bottle water and housekeep every day, Food and drinks: • Delicious and reasonable price, • Breakfast is buffet type, coffee (fresh make) or Masala tea is included Staff: • Receptionist, restaurant and security is very nice, polite and helpful, always carry smiling in the face :) Conclusion: • Customer oriented service, Focus in details and emergency (e.g. Found spare water and good power generator or UPS…), • Management done excellence job in all aspect, • HIGH RECOMMEND, I’ll be back for sure

Neues Hotel, Personal braucht noch Training. Außer an der Reception hat das Personal keine einheitliche Kleidung. Die Kellner hängen in Lederjacken herum.

I was on holiday trip in Kathmandu with my teen age son. We were very much delighted to have stayed here. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Check In was excellent and Mr. Ishwar the Manager was very efficient and helpful. Also the staff from dinning was very polite and helpful. Rooms are big and comfortable and the view to the garden was superb. Would stay here again whenever at Kathmandu. Highly recommended.

We had incredible experience at Hotel Sapana Garden. From the moment we arrived we were met with helpful and friendly staff at the airport with our name card who couldn’t do enough for us. The room was immaculately made up every day including an evening service and the breakfast was fantastic with a complimentary fresh coffee. Full of wonderfully fresh and delicious foods from different cultures which was served as Ala Carta. The garden and bar service and service was great. We were guided to a nearby SPA, which was really relaxing. The restaurant was excellent - beautiful views and delicious food. We loved everything about this stunning hotel and will certainly come back! There were some guests being rude to members of staff which was a real shame to see. People should drink responsibly. Great salute to the staff who treated with smile every time though the drunkard guest was scolding him for no reason. Finally the security personnel came and took care of the drunkard. If I were the staff, I wouldn’t have tolerated the situation. The best part of this hotel is the staff actually. They are real personal and really professional.
