Desert Haveli

The food in the restaurant was good, the staff is very polite and helpful and staying inside the fort is an experience! Although I learnt later that actually staying inside the fort must be discouraged as it is destroying the very fort itself, with excess water comsumption and way too many people, neither of which can be withstood by this fort.

They didn't provide bathing/shower towels. The towels were longer than hand towels but half the size of a normal shower towel. The room could have bed side tables and also a luggage rack, that would have been very helpful. But otherwise all good.

We loved our stay at Desert Haveli, the room and property was super unique and beautiful inside the fort walls. The staff were so accommodating to all of our needs and helped us arrange and amazing private day/evening in the desert with campfire dinner making our stay in Jaisalmer really memorable! Thank you!

Excellent service and staff - Ashish (the owner) arranged for Tajmohmmed and Abdul (the staff) to meet us at the bus stop as we arrived late at night so they could assist us with finding the place - such a gorgeous gesture given we were unfamiliar with Jaiselmer and another thing we didn’t have to worry about. The staff were so responsive during our stay, always helped us with whatever we needed and helped book a jeep safari when we arrived. The food was delicious and the room was clean, and the view was amazing! My favourite place in Rajasthan! Thank you so much to Ashish, Tajmohmmed and Abdul! 100% recommend and we will be back!

Superb building, in the most beautiful spot of Jaisalmer, inside the castle. The staff was very friendly and willing to help us as far as we asked about our excursions and transportation. The view from the rooftop is incredible!

1. Cozy old haveli with a beautiful view from the room and from the rooftop restaurant. The plumbing works, the hot water flows, the bed is clean. 2. Delicious food in a restaurant. Tasty and no spicy honey potato and masala omlettes 😍 3. The service staff are very nice guys (Taj mohmmed and another one). Comfortable and quiet place.

The fort has narrow lane , we had lots of luggages still the hotel staff helped us to take it from chowk to their premises also sometimes it feel understaffed
