I was happy with everything. Updated facilities, nice furnishings, and clean. Good breakfast too!

I couldn't get cookies because I wasn't a reward member. Lame. I paid for the room, can't put cookies out there and not let me partake! LOL

We have been to multiple Holiday Inns and have been satisfied with our stays in the past. We went on a staycation and came to the one in Auburn. We do staycations every now and then so our kids can go swimming. The pool area was so disgusting. If it wasn’t for the fact that the whole reason we got a hotel was for the swimming, I absolutely would have not let my kids anywhere near the pool. They’re 11 and 7 and had been looking forward to that so it would have been so disappointing for them to have missed out on the reason we were there. The floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. It certainly hadn’t been swept and it needed mopped something fierce. I didn’t feel comfortable walking in the pool area without my shoes on, I really wish we would have had water shoes. We had pool toys and I was extremely grossed out if any of them touched the ground. There were fake nails on the floor, globs of hair, spiders. Yuck. And the bottom of the pool was covered with what I would assume was dirt. It was so gross. My husband and I didn’t get in the first night, but the kids did. The second day, I got in with the kids because I wanted to make the best of the situation. But I was thoroughly grossed out. The second day the pool looked a little better and someone was in there sweeping when we were down there but it kind of seemed like they were trying to cover their tracks and it was still really nasty. We also found ants in our room and some other kind of bug on our towels. For the amount we spent on our one night stay, we were annoyed with what we paid for. Having been at Holiday Inns before, this makes us want to look at different hotel chains going forward.

Newer property, liked the room layout, and the soap lotion brand. The breakfast was pretty good.

Room had a stale smell, bathroom toilet was dirty, caulking was not done correctly. The bed was a little hard as well.

Breakfast was good. They had oatmeal!!! My husband went for seconds on biscuits and gravy.

Beds are too tall! Short people like me feel like we're climbing Mt. Everest to get into bed. Frankly, it could be dangerous as it's easy to slip off the edge of the bed.
