Candlelight Inn Napa Valley

The staff were fabulous! Very kind and helpful when needed. I also loved the Jacuzzi tub in the room. And the quiet.

Room could really use some updating. It has that old-world charm, but I think they can keep the charm with new carpet in the room and a bathroom remodel. I would expect that for this price point.

Pool area was really nice.

Breakfast was underwhelming.

The Candlelight Inn is a beautiful property, picturesque and cosy, unique and perfectly located. We really enjoyed our stay there but it was overshadowed by a plumbing issue that seems to be persistent and have been affecting the hotel for many years without being properly fixed. My cousin had to change rooms mid-stay as the plumbing broke down, meaning she had to use a temporary room for showering and then another room for moving into. Reading older reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue at the Inn and clearly needs some significant investment to fix once and for all. It’s a shame as otherwise the experience was great. My only other small issue was that the walls were so thin, that at times it sounded like my room neighbours were in my room with me, which can obviously be awkward at times..! Aside from the plumbing problems, and the thin walls, The Candlelight Inn is lovely, and the staff are super friendly and kind.

Fantastiskt, hemtrevligt och ombonat mitt i Napa Valley

The house and grounds are beautiful! Sam greeted and checked us in, then we enjoyed a glass of wine and she gave us a tour of the home and our room and shared the history of the owners. Sam was super helpful and also shared local recommendations for dinner that were spot on! The house is very charming and decorated nicely. Our room was huge and the bed was super comfy! There were fresh cookies and brownies every afternoon/night, and the kitchen had tea/coffee available anytime. Michelle greeted us with a happy smile at breakfast and the food was so delicious and fresh! We enjoyed our stay at the Candlelight Inn tremendously, and hope we are fortunate enough to come and stay here again!
