Wilpattu Tree House

The beautiful view on the Field with animals, friendly staff who arranged everything (Safari, anuradhapura day trip, transfertaxi)

The room was simply furnished and the walls were not completely tight, But this was ok for a tree Hotel

The location was perfect. Wildlife surrounds you. We seen most the wildlife from our balcony, we didn’t really need a ticket to the safari haha

The mattress

Location Location! Right at the entrance to Wilpattu. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed one night in one of the lodge rooms. We had dinner there. Traditional Sri Lankan fare. They also arranged the 4x4 half day tour of the reserve. That was more than adequate time to spend there.

Decent facilities. Slightly overpriced for the accommodation. Paying for location, which is fantastic.

The views from the treehouse room 3 are amazing. At the same height of the trees, beautiful birds up close and far reaching views to loads more wildlife. All at the edge of the entrance to Wilpattu

A fabulous location just outside Wilpattu National Park entrance gate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. We staying in a tree- house room and really enjoyed watching the birds and other wildlife from our balcony

The tree house room we got was excellent with AC and hot water and a great view. The staff was very good and the food was excellent.

Excellent staff including owner of the property, they looked after us for all of our needs. Good food and arranged all necessities. Location was excellent, good comfortable rooms.

Top location right next to the park entrance. We had a room on the top floor, nice terrace with a beautiful view. Comfortable bed, Helpful staff, they arranged a full day safari and supplied us with a very good breakfast and lunch. Our safari driver/guide was Ranjen and he was excellent and totally exceeded our expectations.

Only thing is they didn't clean the room. I guess we had to have asked for housekeeping but that wasn't indicated.

Very overpriced for what it is. AC in 1st room didn’t work, food is double of what you would pay elsewhere and wasn’t warm nor very good. Manager not particularly accommodating.
